Apple’s recently published iOS26 operating system required a re-write of our mobile banking application for the Apple device platform. 

The new app version is available in the Apple App Store, but your device may have updated already if automatic updates are enabled.

The app has some new design elements in addition to some new features and functionality.  As such, the first time you log into the new app you will be required to enter your username and password.  Once logged in you can enable and configure multifactor authentication methods (click your username in the upper right and choose Security), enable biometrics (click the “three lines” menu in the upper left and choose Settings), etc.

Universal Banker - Centerville Branch

We have an opening in the Retail Department at Iowa State Bank! 

We are looking for outstanding candidates to apply for the position of Universal Banker. 
This position will be based in the Centerville branch, but will fill in at the other branches as needed.

The successful Universal Banker candidate will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and operating a teller drawer daily, accurately processing customer transactions and ensuring the vault is balanced at the end of the day.
  • Efficiently and effectively ensure resolution of problems to help retain customers, sell financial products and ensure prompt service and information flow while complying with bank policies and procedures
  • Providing stellar customer service to all customers and upholding bank quality service goals.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:
  • Carry out general or complex written or oral instructions and use basic judgment under limited management oversight to solve problems with multiple variables.
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. No previous banking experience is required.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, calculators, teller machines, Excel, Word, and other basic computer software.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail while working quickly and accurately.
  • Project a warm and friendly attitude in all contacts with bank personnel and the public as well as establish and maintain working relationships with fellow employees.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Ability to perform light physical labor (lifting up to 35lbs.), with sitting most of the time.
